I was thinking back to my first transistor radio. It was bright red and made me feel so hip. If it was a clear night, I could even tune in to get WLS Chicago - this was really a big deal since our small town at the head of Lake Superior just didn't seem so sophisticated. All it took was a clear signal and all was well in my world.

Stress can be equated to the static on the radio. Worries, looping thoughts and fears are just some of the ways we receive a poor signal. Transform our stress and just like that radio signal from long ago, not only do we open our ears, but also our eyes and our hearts to the "music" all around us.
