Just before Christmas I had the misfortune of being in a car accident. Although it was a low-speed impact, the force of the airbags deploying was enough to break my arm in 3 places. After getting out of the car, I immediately started practising one of the HeartMath techniques. I was amazed how manageable the pain was, despite my "re-arranged" hand.
I don't recommend this method of putting these techniques to the test, but it was interesting to see how they can help in an emergency situation.
I was able to put the situation into perspective - it was my left hand and not my right one or even worse, both that were broken! I was also thankful that no one was seriously injured.
Why not contact me to find out how to add to your "First Aid" kit. Ideal if you are heading into surgery, too!
